Bear found shot and killed in New Sudbury backyard
Greater Sudbury Police have found a bear shot to death in a backyard in the Montrose area of New Sudbury.

Greater Sudbury Police found a bear shot to death in a backyard in the Montrose area of New Sudbury on Saturday.
The bear's carcass has been removed.
Investigators believe the bear was shot at a different, unknown location and then died in the backyard where it was found.
They were called to the scene after receiving a complaint.
Police remind the public that discharging a firearm within city limits is against the law and may result in charges.
