Extreme cold weather has cancelled school bus routes and charters for the public and Catholic schools in Saskatoon on Tuesday.

Morning temperatures were a quivering -33 C and the windchill made it feel like -47 C.

School buses are cancelled when the temperature, including wind chill, reaches -40 C.

FirstBus and Hertz drivers inform parents of route cancellations.

While the buses aren't running, the schools are still open.
