A 26-year-old Saskatoon woman is facing impaired driving charges after getting stopped at a crash scene caused by a different impaired driver.
It happened around 9:15 p.m. CST Saturday on Circle Drive near 33rd Street.
Police say they were investigating a crash at that location when the second driver approached the scene at freeway speeds, driving southbound in the northbound lanes.
"At the last moment the vehicle attempted to avoid the collision area and then attempted to flee the scene before becoming blocked by barricades," police said.
She is scheduled to be in court on Jan. 14.
