Photographers, friends, family and even a person as far away as the Netherlands took part in Saturday night's commemorative vigil, held to honour late photographer Jordan Van de Vorst and his three family members.

All four were killed in a crash that involved an alleged impaired driver on Jan. 3 on a highway 11, just north of Saskatoon.

Saturday's vigil honoured Jordan's love of photography and manipulating light, particularly with glow sticks.

Photographers shot their own Van de Vorst tribute pictures with glow sticks and shared them to a public Facebook page, which was set up to honour the family.
