Carmont Construction Ltd. of Saskatoon is facing a charge under the province's Occupational Health and Safety Act in connection with the death of a teen worker two years ago.
Austyn Schenstead, 19, died when he was crushed under a piece of concrete that was going to be used as a sound barrier.
The accident happened in November 2016 in a back alley by Tache Crescent in the Pacific Heights neighbourhood.
The company is charged with failing to make arrangements for the use, handling and transport of sound barrier panels.
The charge was presented in Saskatoon provincial court on Thursday. The company is due back in court May 23 to enter a plea.
