Saskatoon Police Taser man facing drug trafficking charges
Saskatoon Police have arrested a 33-year-old man on charges of drug trafficking, dangerous driving and assaulting a police officer.

Saskatoon Police have arrested a 33-year-old man on drug trafficking, dangerous driving and assaulting a police officer charges.
Police located the man, who was wanted, Friday at about 6 p.m. CST on the 900 block of Spadina Crescent. The man fled and police then used the K-9 unit.
According to police, the man was combative and assaulted an officer as they were trying to arrest him. A Taser was then used to control the man.
The incident will be reviewed, as is required by the Saskatoon Police Service's use of force policy.
