Passes sold for $20 each
Regina restaurants and bars are banding together to help people affected by wildfires in northern Saskatchewan.
From July 23 to 25, the YQR Pub Pass is being sold for $20. The pass will give diners access to food and drink specials at a number of establishments in the Queen City.
100 per cent of the proceeds from the pass sales will go towards the Red Cross in providing relief and necessities to evacuees.
The list of establishments involved includes:
- Flip Eatery + Drink
- Crave Wine Bar
- Rebellion Brewing
- O'Hanlon's Pub
- Leopold's Tavern
- Victoria's Tavern
- Capitol Jazz Club and Tapas Bar
- The Lobby Public House
- The Fat Badger
- Beer Bros Gastropub
- Lancaster Taphouse.
The pass can be purchased at any of the participating locations. Diners who use their pub pass at every venue are eligible to enter a draw for prizes, including a $1,000 travel voucher from Marlin Travel.
"We all feel that it's very important that as a local business that we need to not only be part of the community but to give back to the community of Regina and Saskatchewan," Tim Rogers, co-owner of Capitol Jazz Club and Tapas Bar, said. "We saw this thing happening and we all felt a need to do what we could to help out."
