Sharp downturn in temperatures expected by weekend
Unseasonably mild weather will continue for much of Saskatchewan this week, although things will turn nasty on the weekend.
In Regina and southern areas, highs will remain above zero for most of the week, but by Saturday, the mercury is not expected to crack –20 C.
There will be similar mildness in Saskatoon and other central areas, although it will start cooling off on Thursday.
Northern areas will see colder temperatures hit soon, but on Monday it's expected to remain unseasonably mild.
