Should P.E.I. change its voting system? Join us for a CBC public forum
Islanders will soon be asked to choose between keeping the current electoral voting system or switching to a proportional representation system.
Forum to be held March 28 at Stonepark at 7:30 p.m. and will be streamed live online

Islanders will soon be asked to vote in a referendum on electoral reform. That referendum will take place at the same time as the upcoming provincial election.
The two options are keeping first past the post as a voting system, or switching to mixed member proportional representation.

CBC P.E.I. will be hosting a public forum where you can hear the arguments, get informed and have your say.
Panelists will include:

- Gerard Mitchell, P.E.I.'s Referendum Commissioner
The public forum will be held Thursday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. at Stonepark Intermediate School, and will also be shared live at cbc.ca/pei and on CBC P.E.I.'s Facebook page.
