Hardware store's roof collapses

The roof of a Home Hardware store in Tignish, P.E.I., collapsed after Friday night's rain and snow storm.

Angel Murphy, an employee of an affiliated store in Tignish, said no one was hurt.

Murphy said a major emergency response was not required, but an inspector has visited the Home Hardware to investigate.

She said it's not clear what exactly caused the roof to collapse, but some locals speculated it was from the weight of the snow.
