Snow warning issued for Ottawa
Alerts cover almost all of eastern Ontario, western Quebec

Nearly all of eastern Ontario and western Quebec is in for a fresh dump of snow Friday, with close to 15 centimetres forecast for the capital and potentially more in other areas as a weather system moves through from the west.
Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings for an area as far south as St. Isidore, Perth and Sharbot Lake. Ottawa and western Quebec can expect close to 15 centimetres of snow, Environment Canada said.
Ottawa will have a winter parking ban from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday.
Communities including Bancroft, Barry's Bay and Deep River should get hit first Friday afternoon and could see more than 15 centimetres of snow.
The warnings are all forecast to end by Saturday afternoon.
A winter weather travel advisory has been issued for areas south of the warnings, stretching to the Canada-U.S. border.
No alerts have been issued for the Kingston area or Prince Edward County.
It's been a warmer week in the region for the end of February, but colder temperatures are forecast to return as the storm passes. Lows on Saturday and Sunday night are expected to approach or reach the –20s in some areas.
