Cornwall is the hub for this southeastern corner of eastern Ontario, which also includes Winchester, Morrisburg and part of Akwesasne.

Voters have chosen the Progressive Conservatives in four straight elections after going with the Liberals after the riding took its current shape in 1998.

Nolan Quinn took about 58 per cent of the vote in 2022.

Six candidates are running for the seat. The Liberals said in a news release on Jan. 19 they'd nominated Ryan St-Jean, who told CBC Feb. 4 that he had withdrawn.

With advance voting done and mail voting applications closed, voting is still possible at local election offices until Wednesday at 6 p.m.

Voting day is Thursday, with polls open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Elections Ontario has more information on the range of voting options.
