Driver critically hurt in multi-vehicle south Ottawa crash
Mitch Owens Road reopened around 6 p.m.

The driver of a pickup truck was taken to hospital in critical condition after a multi-vehicle crash on Mitch Owens Road Monday morning.
Ottawa police said on social media there had been a crash involving multiple vehicles, including a school bus with no children on board.
An Ottawa paramedic spokesperson said the bus and two pickup trucks collided around 7:25 a.m. One of the truck drivers was taken to hospital in critical condition, they said. The other truck driver and a passenger were taken to hospital in serious, stable condition.
The bus driver did not need to be taken to a hospital, according to paramedics.
Ottawa firefighters put the total number of vehicles involved at four, saying a third pickup truck sustained minor damage.
They said on social media they had to help get two people out of a truck that went into the ditch and the driver out of a truck that collided head-on with the bus.
Mitch Owens Road reopened to traffic around 6 p.m. The crash happened about seven kilometres south of the Ottawa International Airport and 20 kilometres south of Parliament Hill.
