2 critically injured, passenger arrested after Highway 15 crash
Charges also pending for one of the drivers, OPP say

Two people suffered life-threatening injuries in a head-on crash Friday on Highway 15 while a passenger was charged with a trio of criminal offences, provincial police say.
OPP officers were called to a stretch of the highway near the village of Elgin, Ont., around noon after getting several reports that a pair of vehicles had collided.
There were two adults in one vehicle, OPP said, and two adults and an infant in the other.
Both of the drivers were rushed to a regional trauma centre with life-threatening injuries, police said. As of Saturday, they were in critical but stable condition.
None of the passengers were seriously hurt, OPP said.
However, one of them refused to provide their identity and — after officers found a knife, suspected cocaine and other drug-related items — was charged with assault, obstructing a police officer and possessing a substance for the purpose of trafficking, OPP said.
Driving-related charges are also pending for one of the drivers, the police force added.
Elgin is roughly 120 kilometres southwest of downtown Ottawa.
