The giant pumpkin growers of Windsor, N.S., are preparing to turn their beasts into boats.

The annual tradition has growers compete to see who can grow the heaviest gourds. After last weekend's weigh-off, the growers are hollowing out the pumpkins to turn them into boats for this weekend's regatta race.
