Scott Jones's stabbing suspect delays bail hearing

The man accused of brutally stabbing Scott Jones earlier this month in New Glasgow is delaying his bid to get out of jail.

Shane Edward Matheson, 19, was supposed to be in court in Pictou on Thursday for a bail hearing, but it’s been put off until the end of November at Matheson's request.

Matheson is charged in an attack on musician Jones that's left him paralyzed from the waist down. 

He is also accused of pulling a knife on a woman earlier in the same evening.
