Police investigating suspicious death of woman, 58, at Dartmouth home

Halifax police are investigating the death of a 58-year-old woman in Dartmouth Thursday afternoon. They believe she died under suspicious circumstances.

Halifax police are investigating the sudden death of a 58-year-old woman in Dartmouth on Thursday afternoon.

At least eight police vehicles, including two forensic units, were parked outside a home on Farquharson Street. Const. Dianne Penfound of Halifax Regional Police said they were called at 1:09 p.m.

Police believe she died under suspicious circumstances.

They have not yet released the woman's name.
