Seasonal JetBlue Halifax-Boston flights coming in June
Halifax International Airport Authority says service a 'game-changing addition' to its roster
JetBlue will begin daily seasonal flights between Halifax and Boston in June, strengthening ties between New England and Atlantic Canada, said the Halifax International Airport Authority on Wednesday.
In a news release, the airport authority said the non-stop service will be a "game-changing addition" to its roster of flights, providing "travellers with a swift and convenient link between two vibrant coastal cities and their flight network beyond."
The release noted JetBlue is known for low fares and award-winning service.
JetBlue will be using one of its new A220 aircraft with capacity for 140 passengers for the service. The company also has a partnership with Porter so customers can book connecting flights on both airlines' networks.
JetBlue flies to more than 100 destinations throughout the U.S., Latin America, the Caribbean, Canada and Europe. It began flying into Canada in 2022 with flights into Vancouver.
