Death of woman, age 25, under investigation in Rankin Inlet
The RCMP's major crimes unit has been called in to Rankin Inlet to investigate a sudden death in the community.
Police called out to scene at 8 a.m. Saturday
Nunavut RCMP are investigating the suspicious death of a 25-year-old woman in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut.
Police found her body after being called to a section of the community called "Area 5" at 8 am on Saturday.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Services are helping with the investigation.
The Office of the Chief Coroner is also involved.
Police are not releasing any details at this time, including the name of the deceased.
