Man, 21, dies after crash in Durham Bridge

A 21-year-old man from is dead following a crash in Durham Bridge on Saturday morning, according to the RCMP.

A 21-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Durham Bridge, about 20 kilometres north of Fredericton, early Saturday, according to the RCMP.

Keswick RCMP, paramedics and the Nashwaak Valley Fire Department responded to a report of a crash on Route 148 shortly after 3 a.m. 

Police said they believe the driver was travelling south on Route 148, when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway and was ejected.

The driver, who was from Noonan, east of Fredericton, was the sole occupant of the vehicle and died at the crash scene.

RCMP say an investigation has begun.
