Meet Emily Brass, the new host of Information Morning Saint John

Emily has been with CBC News for more than 12 years, working in Montreal, Toronto, Victoria, St. John's, London, UK and most recently Winnipeg, where she's been a frequent host for nearly five years while working as a reporter and video journalist.
Before starting her career in journalism, Emily was a professional musician who toured the eastern US as a singer-songwriter-saxophonist on the festival and college town circuit. Off the air, she says you might find her exploring hiking trails, checking out a concert or sampling local hotspots.
Emily is excited by her recent move to New Brunswick and looking forward to connecting with the community.
"From the historic architecture and lovely views, to the recent wave of new residents from Canada and abroad, I'm fascinated by the city's energy and charm. I can't wait to chat with people about what's happening in Saint John now – and how they hope the city grows into the future."
