In 2011, Montreal writer Samuel Archibald published a collection of short stories called Arvida.
The book won several Francophone literary prizes and became a bestseller here in Quebec.
Now the collection is translated into English by Donald Winkler and short-listed for Canada's top literary prize: The 2015 Scotia bank Giller Prize.
