Pedestrian dies after being struck by car in Ville-Marie
A 68-year-old man has died after being struck by an SUV on the corner of Hochelaga and Iberville streets, Sunday morning.
Both the pedestrian and the driver had a green light, police say

A 68-year-old man has died after being struck by an SUV on the corner of Hochelaga and Iberville streets, Sunday morning.
The incident happened around 9:45 a.m. in the neighbourhood of Sainte-Marie, in the Ville-Marie borough.
Montreal police say the female SUV driver was turning left on Hochelaga Street when she struck the pedestrian.
Both the driver and the pedestrian had a green light, police said.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with injuries to the head. He was declared dead Sunday evening.
