Police on Montreal's South Shore are once asking for the public's help in their search for a 86-year-old man, nearly two months after he was first reported missing.

Longueuil police first put out a public notice for Kamal Ayoub's disappearance on Oct. 25. They issued a second call for the public's help on Nov. 5.

On Thursday, police said he was last seen on Oct. 22.

Ayoub was a Longueuil resident. He is described as having fair skin and standing five feet nine inches tall. He weighs about 165 pounds and speaks French. Police say he suffers from cognitive loss.

Police have said that he may be travelling in a black 2005 Honda Accord, licence plate E68 LLH. Because he could be travelling by car, police say he could be anywhere in Quebec and might possibly have gone as far as Ontario.

Anyone who sees Ayoub is asked to contact 911 immediately.
