Winnipeg police name homicide victim found injured on Arlington Street

Peter Filip, 27, was found injured on Arlington Street near Logan Avenue around 2 a.m. on Nov. 11 but died in hospital, police said in a news release on Friday.

Winnipeg police have released the identity of a homicide victim found injured on a sidewalk last week.

Peter Filip, 27, was found injured on Arlington Street near Logan Avenue around 2 a.m. on Nov. 11, police said in a news release on Friday.

Officers called to the scene provided emergency medical care before Filip was rushed to hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead.

Anyone with information that could help police, including video surveillance footage, is asked to contact the homicide unit at 204-986-6508.
