Teen found after going missing from Dauphin
RCMP say a 16-year-old boy who went missing from Dauphin has been located.
RCMP say a 16-year-old boy who went missing from Dauphin has been located.
The boy had last been seen Dec. 28 in the small western Manitoba city. Police received a missing person report on Jan. 10, and a missing person release was issued Jan. 17.
At the time, police said it was possible the teen could be in the areas of Portage la Prairie, Long Plain First Nation or Sandy Bay First Nation.
In an updated release on Monday, RCMP said he was found safe.
No information was provided on when or where he was located.
A previous version of this story included the boy's name and photograph. Those have been removed now that he is no longer missing and in order to protect his privacy.
