Family members, police continue search for missing 81-year-old Winnipeg man with dementia
Police ask public to check garages, video surveillance for Earl Moberg, who was last seen Tuesday
The brother of a missing 81-year-old man last seen in Winnipeg's River East area on Tuesday is asking people to be on the lookout for him.
Doug Moberg was near Bunn's Creek Saturday afternoon looking for his brother Earl Moberg, who was last seen around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
"We think he's probably in this area," said Doug.
Earl, who is in good physical shape but has dementia, is described as five foot seven with a medium build, short white hair and a white beard. He was wearing a dark blue or green parka when he was last seen, Winnipeg police say.
Police are now asking the public to check their garages and outbuildings, as well as video surveillance for any signs of Earl.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts can contact the police service's missing persons unit at 204-986-6250.
