Portage la Prairie hit 20.9 C, surpassing the 18.7 C high set in 2009.
To the north, the mercury rose to 9.8 C in Gillam, beating out the previous record of 7.8 C set in 1975.
Meanwhile Winnipeg tied its old record of 16.7 C from 1975.
