A 38-year-old woman is in hospital after a head-on crash northeast of Winnipeg on Thursday morning.
A Ford Escape and a Honda Pilot were involved in the crash, which shut down Garven Road just after 7 a.m.

The STARS air ambulance was called to the scene, five kilometres west of Highway 12, to help treat one of the drivers. The patient was transported to hospital by ground ambulance.
RCMP did not have an update on the woman's condition as of Thursday afternoon.
A woman from the Springfield area is facing charges in relation to the crash.
