Section of Colonel Talbot Road closed until June

The road is closed from May 12 to June 13 from Southdale Road to Clayton Walk, including the intersection at Pack Road. Drivers can detour from Main Street to Botswick Road.

Part of Colonel Talbot Road, north of Lambeth, will be closed starting Monday, May 12 for road upgrades. 

The closure is between Southdale Road and Clayton Walk, and includes the Pack Road intersection. It is expected to reopen around June 13. 

Drivers can take a detour from Main Street to Bostwick Road to avoid the closure. The roundabout at Southdale Road West and Colonel Talbot will remain open, exiting east to continue along Southdale. 

The closure will affect some bus routes and stops with the city is encouraging transit riders to monitor the London Transit Commission website for updates.  

Local residents living within the closed area will continue to have access to the road, and signs will be up to guide pedestrians though temporary sidewalk restrictions.  

All businesses will remain open throughout the construction.
