London's big week of music starts on Monday and we've got shows planned that you won't want to miss.

London is hosting Canada's largest cultural event as festivities for the 2019 JUNOS get underway on Monday, March 11, 2019.

London's big week of music starts on Monday and we've got events planned for you to come and enjoy.

From free concerts to live CBC Radio broadcasts, consider this your invitation from CBC London to celebrate with us. 

CBC London Nooners this week
The CBC London Nooners run Monday to Thursday on the mezzanine level of One London Place, 255 Queens Ave. in the city's downtown. (CBC London )

Grab your lunch and take in a free concert with the CBC London Nooners at One London Place — on the corner of Queens Ave. and Wellington Street downtown. The daily musical performances will run Monday through Thursday from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m.and will feature a diverse lineup of local talent. 

  • MONDAY:  Lorraine Klassen, 2013 Juno winner, World Music Album of the Year. Need we say more? 
  • TUESDAY:  DJ Khardiac will bring his positive house vibes to London's tallest office tower.
  • WEDNESDAY:  The Heartaches Stringband will have your toes tapping.
  • THURSDAY:  Ivory Hours are London's pop-rock darlings. You may never see them in a venue this small!  
Wednesday, it's rise and shine with London Morning 
Tune in weekdays at 6 a.m.
Rebecca Zandbergen and London Morning will be at The Chef's Table, located at 130 Dundas Street. (CBC)

Host Rebecca Zandbergen and the London Morning team heads to the heart of the new Dundas Flex Street. The program will broadcast live between 6 - 8:37 a.m. from The Chef's Table inside the new Fanshawe College building — which is the former Kingsmills store.

Our musical guests that morning will be The Pairs. Meet Emm Gryner as she brings us the final installment of her music series, Title Track. Also see and hear from the people who are making this city sing. Of course, there will coffee, tea and goodies prepared by Fanshawe's culinary arts students. 

Friday, Afternoon Drive takes over the London Music Club
Chris dela Torre and Afternoon Drive will be live on location at the London Music Club, 470 Colborne Street.

It's going to be a full house at the London Music Club with Chris dela Torre and Afternoon Drive on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. Local band Texas King will be the musical guests as well as a performance from Wolf Saga. JUNO-nominated comic Dave Merheje will be a guest. CBC Radio's Tom Power and Craig Norris will be on hand. Chris will also announce the winner of the Next Gen Juno contest.

All the tickets are now spoken for, but do not fret! You can watch the broadcast on the Afternoon Drive Facebook page. And, of course, tune in on 93.5FM or listen to the livestream on desktop or the CBC Radio app.

Fresh Air is at Edgar and Joe's Saturday!  
Join Nana Aba Duncan and Fresh Air for breakfast at Edgar and Joe's Cafe at 255 Horton St E in London.

CBC Radio's provincial morning show Fresh Air will be in London for Juno festivities. Host Nana aba Duncan will broadcast from Edgar and Joe's, the open-concept cafe inside the Goodwill building at 255 Horton Street E.

It's a perfect morning venue as Nana Aba welcomes JUNO-nominated artists Jann Arden (yes, Jann Arden!), The Reklaws, Chelsea Stewart and Ginalina. Come for some Fresh Air from 6 to 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Craig Norris is the host of In the Key of C, the music program heard Saturdays at 5 p.m. on CBC Radio One.

Craig Norris is bringing his Saturday afternoon CBC Radio music program, In the Key of C, to London. He will record his show at Edgar and Joe's starting around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Craig's guests include JUNO nominees, The Trews.
