4 workers in hospital after Oneida Nation of the Thames building collapse

One person is in hospital with serious injuries and another three with minor injuries after a building partially collapsed on Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation on Monday.

Four people are in hospital after a building partially collapsed in Middlesex County on Monday morning, southwest of London.

Police, fire and paramedics were called to a business on Elm Avenue on Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation at around 10:45 a.m., police said.

"A building that was under construction had partially collapsed," a spokesperson from the Ministry of Labour said in an email to CBC News. 

One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries and another three with minor injuries.  

The Ministry of Labour is investigating the incident with the help of the Oneida Police Service.
