London Morning's associate producer, Ryan Soulliere, listens to a lot of music for his role, picking tunes for the show. In any given week, that's about 25 songs. Here are his top three local and Canadian picks from last week.

Bill Durst - Good Good Lovin'

If you want some amazingly crunchy Texas-style blues, look no further than Bill Durst. Durst is a founding member of the 70s blues rock outfit Thundermug, and he's still going strong with his solo material. Good Good Lovin' is an upbeat earworm with blazing guitar riffs and Durst's growling vocals akin to ZZ Top. Good Good Lovin' is a great song to get you motivated and will work great on a bluesy party mix.

My Son The Hurricane - Moderate Stimulation

My Son The Hurricane is a 14-piece funk-rap band with a huge horn section and a ton of fun. After some lineup changes, the band released the first single showcasing their new lead vocalist, Sarah Faz. Like most My Son the Hurricane's Moderate Stimulation is high energy, funky, catchy and will get you moving. Moderate Stimulation is ideal for your next party mix, and it's excellent at pumping you up when tackling weekend chores.

Caloé and Classik - Reste Un Peu

Let's slow things down with an incredibly sweet-sounding rap remix of Caloé's Reste Un Peu, featuring Toronto rapper Classik. This smooth jazz tune is pure warmth with upright bass and delicate vocals from Caloé. Classik delivers some very mellow verses that work perfectly with the mix. Reste Un Peu is a great weekend day starter and will fit perfectly on a 'chill vibes' playlist.
