16-year-old charged in London stabbing that seriously injured 2 teens

A London, Ont., teenager is facing charges after a stabbing Wednesday afternoon in the city's north end left two other teens with serious injuries.

According to London police, a 16-year-old male has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault. The accused cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The victims, both also 16, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Officers and paramedics located two teens with stab wounds in the 1200 block of Glenora Drive, near A. B. Lucas Secondary School, during the lunch hour Wednesday.

The accused was arrested nearby. The victims and the accused were known to each other, police said.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 24 in relation to the charges.
