Regional candidates sit down for a panel discussion on top issues

The four candidates for regional chair came into the CBC Kitchener-Waterloo office in downtown Kitchener for a sit down panel with The Morning Edition host Craig Norris.
The conversation ranged across various issues including affordable housing, healthcare and the potential for amalgamation. A shorter, edited version of the panel conversation was heard on radio.
CBC Kitchener-Waterloo is releasing the full panel online so voters can listen to what the candidates say.

This will be the first time the Region of Waterloo will have a new regional chair in more than 30 years. Ken Seiling has held the position since 1985 and is not seeking re-election.
The municipal election is Oct. 22.
