2 Guelph teens warned about creating AI-generated nude images of classmates
Police say two 15-year-old boys used artificial intelligence to create nude images of several classmates. They've been referred to na educational program in lieu of charges.

Two Guelph teens have been warned after they used artificial intelligence to create nude images of several classmates, police say.
The two 15-year-old boys took photos from five female classmates from social media and used an AI program to create new images. Police were made aware of the images on Jan. 13 by a school administrator.
All five of the victims were aware of the investigation, police said.
"The two subject males were remorseful for their actions," police said in a release.
They have been referred to an educational program through the John Howard Society in lieu of charges.
