Regional police investigate early-morning shooting in Kitchener

Waterloo regional police are investigating reports of gunshots fired in a Kitchener neighbourhood Tuesday morning.

Officers received a report around 6:35 a.m. ET Tuesday about shots fired into a residential building

Waterloo regional police are investigating reports of gunshots fired in a Kitchener neighbourhood on Tuesday morning. 

Police said they received the call about a shooting around 6:35 a.m. ET in the area of Harold Avenue and Jean Avenue.

The shots were fired into a residential building, police said. 

No injuries have been reported and police believe the shooting was targeted.

Police said there will be a heavy presence in the area for most of the day.  

Anyone with information is asked to contact regional police or Crime Stoppers.
