Man dies after early-morning fire in Kitchener on Saturday
Waterloo regional police and the Office of the Fire Marshal are investigating an early-morning fire in Kitchener, Ont. Police say one man was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A man is dead as a result of an early-morning fire in Kitchener, Ont., on Saturday.
According to police, emergency crews arrived at the scene of the fire, by River Road East and Holborn Drive, at approximately 4:30 a.m after receiving reports of a house fire.
The Kitchener Fire Department extinguished the fire and found a man with severe injuries. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Waterloo regional police and the Office of the Fire Marshal are investigating. The cause of the fire is not yet known, police said.
