Comfort Inn target of early morning robbery, say Guelph police
Guelph police say a man entered the hotel at around 2 a.m. on Saturday, brandishing a firearm and demanding cash from a hotel staff member.

Guelph police are looking for a man who robbed a Comfort Inn hotel at gunpoint early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the north end hotel around 2 a.m.
Police say a lone man had entered the hotel, brandishing a firearm and demanding cash from a hotel staff member. The man fled the area after receiving the cash.
No one was injured during the robbery, police say.
The suspect is described as a man in his 20s with a medium build. He is approximately 5'11" and was wearing dark coloured clothing.
Anyone who was in the area of Woodlawn Road and Silvercreek Parkway North around the time of the robbery is asked to contact Guelph police or Crime Stoppers.
