A record low temperature of –26.8 C for Feb. 15 was recorded Sunday morning at Region of Waterloo International Airport, barely beating a 1987 record of –26.7 C, says Mitch Meredith, a meteorologist at Environment Canada.
That meant many of us spent what was otherwise a bright, sunny day indoors.
