The 2141 Heritage steam engine has been noticeably absent from Kamloops for a couple of years.

But now it's back on track and ready to roll.
Volunteers have just finished the painstaking work of putting the 102-year-old locomotive back together.
Daybreak's Doug Herbert stopped by the repair shop as the engine was put through some final tests.
