The trial of the two men accused of killing Tim Bosma resumes today in Hamilton after a day off Friday, and is expected to hear from a forensic biologist who examined the Eliminator, Bosma's truck and other key evidence.

The Superior Court trial is in its fifth week.

Dellen Millard, 30, of Toronto and Mark Smich, 28, of Oakville, Ont., have each pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder.

Bosma, a 32-year-old from the Hamilton suburb of Ancaster, was last seen on May 6, 2013, leaving his home to take two men on a test drive of a truck he had advertised for sale online.

Burned remains were found on May 14, 2013, on a farm owned by Millard. Those remains could not be positively identified as belonging to Bosma. The next day, Millard was charged with murder, and a few days later, on May 22, Smich was arrested and also charged with murder.

Last week, court heard about Mark Smich's arrest and also about the financial health of  Millard's company.
