Time is up for the City Motor Hotel.

It has stood since the 1960s — but on Monday, wreckers are set to start tearing down the infamous Hamilton landmark. The city-ordered demolition should take six weeks to complete.

"It's a delicate process," says John, the security guard on duty at the front of the site. "They'll dismantle it more than demolish it."
