Hamilton school kids get the day off to take in an OHL game between the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Niagara Ice Dogs.

School buses lined the streets in front of the FirstOntario Centre Wednesday as thousands of students from the area took in the Hamilton Bulldogs school day game.

More than 10,000 students from grades 4 to 6 from the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board (HWDSB) and Hamilton-Wentworth District Catholic School Board (HWDCSB) were in attendance to watch the Bulldogs take on the Niagara Ice Dogs. Students booed the the opposition when Niagara got off to an early lead, but unleashed some "Let's go bulldogs" chants when Hamilton tied it later that period.

Despite the Bulldogs losing 3-2 in overtime, it was one of the louder crowds the Bulldogs played in front of this season, as shown in the video above.
