Hamilton homicide detectives have zeroed in on a Stoney Creek home in the search for missing Harmanjit Singh, who disappeared 16 days ago.

The 19-year-old Singh was last seen on the morning of Oct. 27 in a white vehicle near Delawana Drive, some 10 kilometres away from 37 Hannon Cres., where forensic teams from Hamilton Police are scouring a home for any clues to Singh's current whereabouts.

Hamilton Police Det. Sgt. Joe Stewart said the investigation into the home, the last location he was know to attend, is just "one aspect of a multifaceted investigation."

As to what clues they found or could be looking for, Stewart would not delve into details. He did, however, say that they are not looking at any other cities to locate Singh.

Stewart said he believed Singh was at the home, but did not provide details why. He is not related to anyone in the home.

Singh, who is of East Indian descent, is a recent Mohawk College graduate. Most of his family live in India. His father and several other family members have flown in to help locate Singh, after close friends reported him missing in late October.

Stewart said he believes they will be at the home until Friday looking for clues. Anyone with information is asked to call the Division Two staff sergeant at 905-546-2963, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
