Gawker editor John Cook discusses the decision to publish allegations that Toronto Mayor Rob Ford can be seen allegedly smoking crack cocaine in a video that his gossip website is attempting to purchase.
Cook debated the ethics of the story with Jeffrey Dvorkin, a University of Toronto professor and former CBC journalist, on Tuesday's episode of Q with Jian Ghomeshi.
Ford has denied the allegations and CBC News has not been able to validate the existence of the video or any of the claims being made about it.
