Lunar New Year at WEM | Jan. 25 and 26
Join us at West Edmonton Mall as we ring in the Year of the Snake with Edmonton's biggest Lunar New Year celebration, organized by the Edmonton Chinatown Multi-Cultural Centre.
Expect endless fun and entertainment for the whole family on Jan. 25 and 26.
Shop from more than 50 local vendors for books, clothing, jewelry and much more while you enjoy live entertainment!
Visit the CBC Edmonton booth for a chance to win CBC swag and learn about our free 24/7 streaming channel where you can find news, entertainment and community-focused programming.
The event is open to the public.

Saturday, Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Location: West Edmonton Mall's Ice Palace (8882 170 St NW)
Fee: $3 per person (cash only). Free entry for:
- Children aged 10 and under.
- Seniors aged 65 years and older.
- Anyone who brings a non-perishable food donation to the Edmonton Food Bank.
