RCMP say the female driver of a pickup truck that rear-ended a school bus in southern Alberta is in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A male passenger was also seriously injured.
Mounties in Strathmore, east of Calgary, say the bus was stopped on a rural road in Wheatland County Tuesday morning to pick up students.
They say the collision pushed the bus forward and a student was hit by the mirror, but was not seriously hurt.
No other students on the bus were injured.
Strathmore RCMP and a RCMP collision analyst are investigating.
