IHOP, the famous U.S. chain of pancake houses, has set up shop in Calgary.
Restaurant reviewer John Gilchrist tried out the 54-year-old chain's first Calgary location at 70 Shawville Boulevard S.E. in Shawnessy.
He says that despite the lengthy menu, the chain's offerings provide a predictable, somewhat disappointing pancake and waffle experience.
