Eight Albertans have been arrested and charged with child sexual exploitation offences after a seven-month police investigation.
During the investigation by the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) 16 search warrants were issued, 85 computers and electronic devices seized and 100,000 photos and video of child pornography identified, according to a news release.
Police will make more details available on Tuesday.
